The designs of diesel engines are aiming to increase performance have made a lot of advancements in engine fuel delivery to the combustion chamber. As the clusters begin to increase in size, only a small amount of the molecules will get burned, as the rest will go out the exhaust as unburned fuel and smoke.

Its estimated that eight out of every ten diesel engine failures are directly related to poor quality and contaminated fuel. The build up of contamination in the fuel systems and storage tanks can clog filters, thereby causing the engine to shut down, and damage to the engine to occur.

The number one reason for bad fuel is due to the increasing popularity of diesel power and the accompanying increased demand for more diesel fuel. Long ago, diesel fuel remained in the refinery storage tanks long enough to naturally seperate and begin to settle, allowing the clean fuel to be drawn apart. Now, with the demand getting higher than ever, the fuel is never stationary long enough to settle, and the suspended water and solids are passed on to the person buying the fuel.

The changes in refinery techniques is also a problem. In order to get more products, diesel fuel is being refined for more marginal portions of the crude barrel. This results in a lower grade product that is thicker and also contains a lot more contamination.

As time continues to pass and technology gets better and better, one can only hope that the quality of diesel fuel improves. As it stands now, the quality isn’t good at all. If you run diesel fuel, all you can basically hope for is that the fuel you are getting isn’t contaminated.

The Gas engines are divided into two categories they are two cycle and four cycle engines. They are internal combustion engines. The cycle of engine represents one stroke of the piston and one complete revolving represents two cycles. With four cycle engines it occurs at every other revolution.

A Diesel tractor is better than the gasoline tractor. There are many reasons for the same.

1) The diesel engine does not have parts which can easily exhaust or give problems. The diesel engines even after a long time can easily start, but the gasoline engine is difficult to start after a long period of time.

2) The diesel in most cases is water cooled and this allows the engine to run more smoothly in a cooler temperature and increases the life of the engine. The diesel engine can run a longer miles and hours without giving any trouble.

3) Diesel engines are more powerful. The gas engines are quick to start but they cannot match the power of the diesel engines.

4) The diesel engines have many attachments. The tractor can be equipped with many things whereas the gas engine cannot match the power with the attachments.

5) The blades and the scoop attachments do not work with the gas tractors. The gas engine is belt driven and will not pull as much load as a diesel engine. The box blade or tiller also does not work with the gasoline tractor.

Porsche in 1998 made a pact in Finland with a company named Valmet as their plant in Zuffenhausen was not able to handle the production increase. The management thought if they want to sell more Boxter in the market they need to increase the production hence this new contract.

Initially the Boxter was supposed to be produced in Finland only for two years and the management never thought that the demand for the Boxter will increase so much that they will require another plant for the same. As far as Zuffenhausen is concerned they could produce 30,000 cars per year. And the demand kept increasing which the management had to fulfill and they started producing in Valmet whose all the manufactured cars headed for North America.

At present the cars manufactured in Finland are supplied in various parts of North America and it is very difficult to know where exactly the car was manufactured. The quality in both the plants are excellent and the supply is so quick that it is surprising that the cars come from Finland.

Diesel is associated with the large vehicles like trucks, or tractors or bulldozer and they make noise and are also smell. Actually the diesel vehicles are slow compared to their counterparts i.e. Gas.

Diesel engines as compared to Gas engines are not very powerful and therefore the regular use of Gas powered vehicle is more used than the diesel powered ones.
The Diesel powered vehicles are more costly and their replacements are very expensive. The engine itself is very complicated and they are heavier. Because they are heavier, they usually last longer then the Gas Powered vehicles.

The fuel prices today are hitting the roof and to fill up a vehicle costs to much where as the diesel prices are much cheaper than the Gas prices and they outrun the gas engines in consumption.

The outward beauty is also important factor in owning a vehicle for which a diesel powered one will be heavier and noisier and will pollute the environment. The Gas powered one are quieter and are friendlier with the environment. The diesel engine needs more tuning regularly than the gas powered ones. The diesel engines are powered by turbo and therefore can match with the gas-powered engines in the terms of power.

Most of the diesel engines are used by the people who want power and the gas powered engines are what regular people use. The choice depends entirely up to the person who is in the driving seat and he can decide what exactly he/she is looking for.
